      4 axis motion control system

The system is designed around high speed servo motors using G-code commands.  The GUI (graphical user interface) can be customized to the purchasers request.

      Automated Laser Welding

Accurate part placement under the focused laser beam is achieved by using X,Y,Z , and rotary stages. A pneumatically actuated ER-16 collet allows for rapid part changes.

      Laser Optics

An in-line camera provides real-time viewing of the welding.  A 100mm focal length lens allows for fine detail welding.

      Safety

      Laser Optics

      Laser Optics

Operator safety is critical. The enclosure was designed to meet CDRH Class 1 requirements.  The motorized stages will not move if the door is open.  The laser will not fire unless the door is closed & locked.
